A Workshop Series Inspired by Taylor Swift
Eras of Healing is Summit Counseling’s new workshop series inspired by the music and messages of Taylor Swift. This series is perfect for adult Swifties seeking deeper connection, personal growth, and a supportive space to discuss music themes with others.
Through guided discussion, creative reflection, and community, we explore themes of resilience, identity, relationships, and healing across every era
Why a Taylor Swift Themed Group?
Because music speaks where words leave off and therapy should have room for fun.
Shared Storytelling
We’ve all heard Taylor sing a lyric that felt like it was pulled straight from our own journal. Her music gives us a shared language to explore complex humanness.
Room for Joy & Fun
Therapy should mimic real life. It should have room for fun, laughter, and creativity while remaining serious, reflective, and deeply healing when it needs to be.
A Safe Community
Connect with fellow Swifties who understand both the music and the meaningful themes of identity, relationships, resilience, and personal growth.
✨ “Therapy should mimic the rest of life. It should encourage growth, hold room for connection, and always feel safe.”
What to Expect
This series uses a process format—our therapist brings a new theme to each session, and the group discusses real-life experiences while incorporating music from Taylor Swift’s discography. Each meeting includes:
Guided Discussions
A licensed counselor facilitates open, supportive conversations about weekly themes—like confidence, identity, relationships, and processing change.
Taylor-Inspired Activities
Lyric reflections, guided journaling, collaging, and Swiftie classics like friendship bracelet making.
Creative Expression
Music and storytelling are woven into every session to help facilitate insight. (Singing or dancing skills never required, but welcome if you like!).
Peer Connection
A chance to share your journey and hear from others in a warm, supportive, judgment-free space with fellow music lovers.
What You'll Do
No singing, dancing, or artistic skills required! You just need to be yourself. Our therapist creates a safe, low-pressure environment—all you need to bring is a love for music and respect for other Swift fans.

That’s completely normal. Most people feel pretty nervous about working in a new group; usually right up until it starts and then people wish they would have done it much sooner. Think of other small, safe, and vulnerable groups you’ve been a part of (teams, clubs, friends, family). Group therapy usually ends up feeling like a version of that.
No, you can join any group to supplement individual counseling (either at our practice or elsewhere, or you can just join for our group. There are no requirements to see an individual counselor here or anywhere else.
Nope! You don’t need to sing, play instruments, or perform. The focus is on reflection and conversation, not performance. Taylor’s music simply provides a relatable lens for exploring life themes.
