Congratulations on earning your masters degree. It’s no easy task and something you should feel excited about! Next up, supervision.

We’re proud to be a small part of the growth of counselors. We take seriously the privilege to contribute to the future of our field by providing high quality and practical supervision services.

We offer clinical supervision for post-masters counselors pursuing independent licensure as LPC/LPC-MHSP or RPT.

Supervision Quality Matters

The clinical supervision phase of your career is important. This is when you get a chance to try on ideas, ask questions, and develop a confidence that will carry you forward. Your supervisor should know how to help you make the most of the opportunity.

Our Values Related to Supervision

Summit was founded and operates according to a few basic principles.
Namely that counseling should be modern and effective.
We believe this is possible when counselors feel confident and knowledgeable about current counseling skills. We believe counselors feel confident when they have good clinical knowledge, understand how to apply skills flexibly, and feel supported.

Our Supervisors

Ben Taylor, LPC-MHSP-S
Ben specializes in third wave CBT approaches, primarily Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He works with adults currently but has experience working with adolescents as well. He is experienced addressing most presenting concerns and has particularly developed a niche practice of working with clients experiencing OCD, Panic Disorder, PTSD, Phobia, and other compulsive related disorders. He values curiosity and openness in his clinical approach. Ben’s clinical style is rooted in an ACT perspective to addressing most clinical presentations. He values interventions which are practical over complex, useful over theoretical, and experiential over purely cognitive.

Julie Price, LPC-MHSP-S, RPT-S
Julie is an EMDR and play therapy trained clinician with years of experience and wisdom to share. She currently works with clients across the lifespan but has vast knowledge working with children. In clinical practice Julie pulls from experiential modalities. She is naturally warm and empathetic. She is a wonderful example of using person-centered approaches to create a therapeutic environment. In her work with children, Julie utilizes play-therapy and sand-tray therapy (also with adults).
