Thriving with ADHD

A Summit Skill Building and Accountability Series

College and young adulthood in general is a major step forward, but when you have ADHD, it can be a real challenge. You probably already know how stressful managing the endless tasks and assignments can be. And it becomes even worse when you begin to feel discouraged, embarrassed, or unreliable due to missed assignments, lost items, last minute efforts.

At Summit Counseling Services, we know that generic study tips aren’t enough. You need tools designed specifically to address ADHD challenges.

That’s why we created this series. We wanted to build a practical, focused space where our therapists could share their best advice to tackle ADHD, you can feel supported by peers, and you can gently be challenged and encouraged to address  your own ADHD experiences.

Is This For You?

This group is specifically for college-aged students (18-24) who are looking for concrete strategies to manage their ADHD symptoms in an academic and social environment.

You might be a great fit if you’re struggling with:

  • Procrastination and the cycle of last-minute cramming.

  • Time management and keeping track of assignments, classes, and appointments.

  • Organization of your notes, dorm room, and digital files.

  • Motivation and starting tasks you know you need to do.

  • Study skills that truly work for the ADHD brain.

  • Feeling isolated and wishing you had a supportive network that gets it.

Stop Struggling and Start Feeling More Steady !

This series is focused on learning:

Practical ADHD Specific Strategies

We’ll dive into techniques for time blocking, using digital tools effectively, breaking down large assignments, managing overwhelm, and building distraction-proof study environments.

Accountability and Consistentcy

One of the most powerful aspects of the group is the built-in support. You’ll set weekly, achievable goals and check in with your peers and the therapist, helping you follow through and create consistent habits.

Peer Support and Encouragement

You’ll connect with a small group of students facing the exact same challenges. This shared experience reduces feelings of shame and isolation, creating a supportive space where you can share wins and setbacks without judgment.

Improved Functioning and Confidence

Our sessions focus on strengthening the core skills most impacted by ADHD: planning, working memory, task initiation, and self-control.

Meet Online or In Person
